Please note:
All visa supporting documents must be in English or Russian language only.
- Visa application form: Please download, print and sign Russian visa application,
- Original, signed passport: With at least 6 months of remaining validity and two blank pages side by side.
- Passport Photo: Include a passport style photo 3.5x4.5cm, with a white background must be most recent.
- Proof of Status: Original BRP, this should be valid for more than 6 months after your return from Russia.
- Proof of residence: Must present proof of residence in the UK for the last 90 days. One of the following documents needs to be submitted:
- A valid UK visa in the passport OR
- Last 3 months bank statements OR
- Utility bills covering the last 3 months with applicants name and address OR
- Letter from the employer specifying the starting date of the applicants employment and his/her UK home address OR
- Letter from the university / college specifying the date of enrollment and courses taken
Rent, mortgage agreements and phone bills are not acceptable. - Health Insurance: Proof of health insurance covering international travel.
- Tourist Voucher: Copy of tourist voucher issued by Tourist Company or hotel in Russia approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A tourist voucher may be obtained through GLOBAL VISA AGENT at an additional cost.
BIOMETRICS
In accordance with the Executive Order of the President of the Russian Federation No. 735, On Collecting Biometric Personal Data of Foreign Nationals and Stateless Persons beginning 10 December 2014, all the foreign nationals and stateless persons must submit their fingerprints as for the visa to be processed.
Note. Submitting fingerprint does not ensure a visa grant.
Biometric data will not be collected when issuing diplomatic and official visas, nor for individuals under 12 years of age.
VALIDITY
Tourist visa can be valid for up to 30 days and can be issued for single or double entry. Dates of validity of the visa will correspond with the dates of your legal invitation. A tourist visa allows you to enter the country to participate in short negotiations, exhibitions, auctions, medical consultations or surveys. In such cases, the confirmation of admission of a foreign tourist must indicate the purpose of visit as “AIM-TOURISM’’.
