India Regular Visa Info & Requirements - British Passport Holder

Tourist Visa
  • Original, signed passport*: Passport must have at least 6 months remaining validity on the date of travel and have at least 2 blank pages.
  • Passport-type photograph: Two recent photographs, should be in color and of the size of 2 inch x 2 inch (50 mm x 50 mm). Photo specification here.
  • Visa application form. Please download, print and sign.
  • Declaration: Original signed declaration, here.
  • Letter of Authority. Sign here

Business Visa

  • Original invitation letter from sponsoring company, stating the duration and the purpose of the visit.
  • Original Letter from employer in the UK confirming the purpose of visit in relation to the business.
Note. The applicant's position MUST be director or supervisor; the applicant must show his direct involvement with the business events taking place during the visit. 

Medical Visa

Original letter from Hospital / doctor, confirming dates and purpose of visit.

    

FOR MINOR

1. Birth Certificate. Original, showing both the parents names.

2. Consent letter. Must be addressed to the High Commission of  India, London or respective consulates signed by both the parents

3. Parent’s passports. Scanned copies must be sent along with copy of their current Indian Visa, if already holding
one. If parents are Indian citizens, copy of the resident status in the UK would be required.

4. In case of Divorce. Must include Child Custody Letter from court.

5. In case of Single Parent. Must include solicitor’s Letter and Child Benefit letter.

6. Declaration. Both parents must sign the application form.

3 to 15 working days. (Depends on the Embassy and on Nationality)
